AOL still makes money off dailup

Yes AOL still have dailup subscribers paying $20/month but the company is losing customers from 2.34 million last year to 2.1 million last quarter. Why do people still use dailup? A combination of no broadband in the area or people are lazy and don’t want to cancel.
