Blockbuster to add video game rentals

I have been screaming for this to be added to Netflix and now Blockbuster has announced that the online rental store will have video games included in their service.

“On Wednesday the company announced it would be adding gaming titles alongside movies to its movies-by-mail monthly service as part of a pilot program”, said Josh Lowensohn from CNET News.  “This program will start in the second quarter of this year, and will only be open to a limited number of subscribers. The company hopes to have it available for everyone else by the ‘second half of the year.’”

Missing from the announcement is how much more users will have to pay for video game rentals.  Now the question will be if Netflix will follow or will the strike an agreement with GameFly?
