There are some rumblings about Comcast compression their HD channels to allow more HD channels on the channel guide. However, a user on AVSForums posted detail specs and images on comparison between Comcast HD, which uses the old method of cable, and Verizon’s FiOS service, which uses fiber to the home. The results are noticeable!

If Comcast did another survey, would people notice the difference between their service and satellite and FiOS?
