Hulu finally gets serious about streaming

After seeing HBO Now enter the streaming market and Netflix continuing to climb, Hulu finally got serious by winning streaming rights to Seinfeld, AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead and Steve King’s book 11/22/63 plus Fox’s Empire that was added earlier in the year. Variety reports that Hulu paid $157.5 million for the entire series ($875,000 per episode, times 180 episodes).
