Livestream apps not being used during Baltimore riots

. . . neither Periscope or Meerkat seems to have caught on with regular citizens. Instead, they’re relying on Vine, Instagram, and Twitter’s built-in video service to record and share their activities.

The benefit of these other services over the livestreaming apps is that recorded videos don’t expire and can be shared on mobile and desktop platforms.
