Microsoft Age detection API is based on camera and lighting

Microsoft released a new API that can detect what age of the person in a photo. Microsoft has a description of how the service works. I did two test: one on my iPhone and the other on my Mac with overhead lighting. The photo I took on my iPhone said I was 34 (three years over). The photo I took on my mac with overhead lighting said I was 30 (1 year under). So if you want to look younger, have bright lights shining down on you.
