Radio ratings for New Orleans

While Clear Channel’s WYLD-FM (WYLD 98) and WQUE-FM (Q93) battle for the top spot, WWL-AM/FM had the biggest radio ratings increase since the summer book ended in July 2009 to take third place in the New Orleans radio market.

This is all due to the New Orleans Saints as WWL radio is the flagship station for Saints play-by-play. WWL radio had a 9.1 share for the fall months (August, September, October 2009), a 9.5 share for the winter months (November, December, January 2009-10) and 9.7 share to start off the new year. The station had a 6.6 share in the summer months.

WRNO-FM (Rush radio 99.5) continues to hold on to sixth place with a 6.3 share for the fall months, 4.7 share for the winter months and a 5.1 share to start off the new year.
