What a day! I was not expecting to spend the entire day deleting files, moving domains around different servers, and sending numerous emails with customer support. Even though it took the entire day to move to a new domain, my last email from customer support made me upset because I could have done this in minutes instead of hours. Anyway, the new website is up and under a new domain name (controlalttv.net). Also, I want to send a special thanks to our new webhost, Hostgator. I was blown away of the greatness of their customer support. If your looking for a great host, go with Hostgator.
Now that the introduction is done, welcome to the new ControlAltTV, previously known as ControlAltDelete. Not only do we have a new name, we also have a new domain name; controlalttv.net. The old domain name will continue to work until it expires in 2011. We decided to move to a new domain name because it’s cheaper to maintain a .net domain than a .tv domain name.
We also wanted a shorter name.
The website will be in beta for a while while we still tweak the site and while we add more items to the site. We’re also going to integrate the site with Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed and YouTube.
On a final note, I want to thank everyone for sticking with us during our down time. I’ve been going through an emotional time in my life and want to thank everyone for staying with us. We hope you’ll enjoy the new site and the many new features we’ll be adding in the future.
